About Us

The World Trade Center Helsinki (WTC Helsinki) is the premier international business resource in the city center of Helsinki. With some 130 tenants in the building and 250 WTC Club members, WTC Helsinki centralizes trade and business activities while bringing together influential business people from around the world. As a non-profit, membership organization, WTC Helsinki provides international contacts and services for both members and non-members. WTC Helsinki members play an important role in shaping Hlsinki Metropolitan Area's position within the global economy.

WTC Helsinki is a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), a global association of nearly 300 World Trade Centers in some 100 countries. WTC Helsinki  brings together a wide variety of business and government agencies involved in international trade. Through cooperative relationships and support WTC Helsinki and its members can access resources of the world's major trading centers for information, trade and business contacts and a wide variety of specialized international services.

The World Trade Center Helsinki has been in operation since June 1995.

Backing organizations of WTC Helsinki are Keskinäinen Eläkevakuutusyhtiö Ilmarinen and Lentoasemakiinteistöt Oyj.

Building

WTC Helsinki building is an old bank building which dates from 1929. The real estate is owned by Keskinäinen Eläkevakuutusyhtiö Ilmarinen and the Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland owns its own premises.. The offices and other business premises were completely renovated before the opening of the WTC Helsinki in June 15th 1995.
